Trying to be calm about this, but I don't see anyway Cam is able to play week 1.  We'd be lucky if he's able to go week 2.  Smh, it doesn't look good.

People freaking out about the line, the last game was the only one where they didnt offer great protection, plus cam doesn't help himself when he holds onto the ball for 7 seconds

Don't be surprised when Anderson moves the ball downfield and spreads it to different WRs.  Steelers will play a lot of backups and despite popular opinion, Anderson is a decent QB with good accuracy.

Have done this. Hurts a lot. He didn't play in the final preseason game last year either, so I suppose the injury was just validation of the notion that he shouldnt.

This is a time where you have to be thankful to have such a competant backup QB in Anderson. If Cam were to miss some games, I have confidence that DA will at least be able to keep us competitive until Cam comes back. This still sucks though.

If I was Mike Shula I would be working on the run game. Hard. No more Greg Olsen blocking defensive ends. Get a real Full Back. 

 

Make defenders too tired to rush the passer. Complaining about the oline is in vogue but it's not going to change. We can improve our run game.

Stop with these negative bullshit comments until anything is actually confirmed. When it is actually confirmed that he won't be able to play week 1, then be my guest and let the bitching begin.

Didn't he continue to play after the standard 'come-out-for-1-play" requirement...? He has a solid 2 weeks to recover. I think it really depends on how bad the hairline fracture is...
