Cam not playing Thurs, has rib injury

If Anderson is so much better than Cam, then how did he lose his job as a starter? Clearly he wasn't doing something right.

I never said Anderson is so much better than cam, cam is a much better QB, but that's one thing he doesn't seem to do better than DA or some other vet QBs. I'm just sick and tired of people blaming the oline for no reason

I busted a rib one time - dont ask me how cause I was blacked out. It was not only painful when moving around but simply painful to breath normally. And it took several weeks to heal up.

This is not good.

I've never broken ribs but I had a hairline fracture in my upper arm. The evening after the fracture it didn't hurt too bad but when I woke up the next morning the pain was absolutely excruciating and I went straight to the doctor. He just gave me some pain killers and a sling and told me to wear the sling for 6 weeks and come back for check-ups. I never went back for a check-up but I did wear the sling religiously for 4 weeks, and after 2-3 weeks I felt like my arm was all better (around week 2-3 I took a blow to the fracture and it didn't even hurt). Ribs fractures are harder to heal than arm fractures and every hairline fracture is different and every bone is different but I wouldn't be surprised if there are people in our medical staff arguing that Cam should let his rib heal for 3 weeks before playing against Detriot in Week 2.

We have to remember these guys "Are finally tuned athletic machines!" We are just water boys lol.

They may have better drugs for the pain.  However, their bones heal the same speed that our heal.

Being "finely tuned athletic machine" will not make his rib heal faster.

Hard to really blame anything that happened there on the Oline.  Maybe blame the receivers who couldn't get open or Cam for not sliding.

Note in that video how QUICKLY Cam moved out and in front of the OL with no intention of staying behind or stepping up in the pocket.  He moved out to the right and in FRONT of the OL with full intention of running on his own.

The end of the run was just as bad.

Damn... I think in a normal game he would have tried to juke that one defender to get even more yards rather then diving at the worst possible moment. Obvious lack of trust in the ankle makes him appear slow and indecisive as hell.

I think depending on the pain, if he shows in practice to preform noticeably worse than DA on reads and accuracy we should shut him down until Week 2 at the earliest. Cam would be forced to play a Pocket Passer game, I cant see him being mobile enough to play his usual style of play.

I'd prefer him to play if he's still equal or greater then DA for sustaining drives, otherwise I want a quick pass DA offense, with some Webb sprinkled read option and force the Bucs to double/triple gameplan for our QBS. I hate this the most if Cam cant go that that's more time to not gel with his recievers outside of KB and Olson.
