Cam not playing Thurs, has rib injury

I had a rib contusion when I played varsity ball and it was pretty bad, but all it took was a rib cage and I was fine. He's a qb. He just needs to throw even though he can run. We have 2 weeks still too. He will be good.

Yes...but our D is better. And I'd still take our O even without Cam over theirs. Mccown and Napolean Dynamite don't scare me, and they've lost a starter on the sub par offensive line.

But seriously, if the Panthers and Rivera say "expected to play week 1" then that's all I need to hear.

Our D drastically changes with one starting DE out. Bucs D is good....unlike us, their O didn't aid them last year and they had a poo coach. Talent? They are more well rounded likely

Fractured ribs can be pretty painful and the worst thing is that there's pretty much nothing you can do about them except wait. It's going to be difficult for him to throw, and breathing could be difficult as well.

this is not Bell's fault. nor is it the OLs fault. everyone who is blaming the OL needs to watch the tape. 

 

Several months back someone said that Gettleman doesnt have faith in Cam as QB of the future and is setting him up for failure. Im starting to think this might be the case. I just get this feeling Gman is cold toward Cam for some reason.

Im going to get bashed in a big way here but im going to say it because its how I feel. Gman strikes me to be very old school and I just get this strong sense that he doesnt believe in african american QBs, its honestly the impression I have always got about him. Maybe im completely wrong and its possible but its a strong feeling I get.

If Gman does really believe in Cam explain why we have did 0 to fix the O line and literally got rid of our entire WR corps

That's fun to say but Cam's injury was on him. When the play broke down he had the option to throw it away. Instead he tried to make a play. In the preseason.

 

Looks like he can't win with some of our fans regardless. If he doesn't run people complain, if he does they still complain.

I probably would have been fine with it during the regular season. I think he probably would have taken off down the sideline if he was 100% healthy but he was indecisive. Ultimately my biggest problem with it was the game didn't matter.
