Would you trade Anderson to St Louis?

Even if he's better right now. What are the rams going to accomplish? 6-10? Is that their ceiling? They are contending with the Cardinals, Seahawks, and Niners.

Valid points. Well theres the old saying "no one know what the future holds". I mean three years ago nfc west was pure trash.... now its the best overall. Who knows the rule changes could really hurt the team that forced the nfl to change pass interfeance. SF is dealin with lots of IRs, OL issues and that dolpfin fan squidward QB. I mean outside of the panthers, the rams may have a better DL. Rams have more 1st, 2nd, 3rds round draft picks than any other team, thats talent. Besides the season hasn't started and as much as I dislike the guy jeff fisher can coach. Jeff is very similar to john fox so he knows how to play it close, get some luck and win close games. Sam was never much of QB anyway and they played just about all games close.

I think DA would be better now til week 6-8, then if one of those young guys hasn't had a mental breakdown, who knows. That's another plus, DA would deal with having a terrible game better.......cause hes had a few.........but he bounced back next week!1!!

PFF has Webb as its third best qb of preseason so far. For whatever thats worth.

3. Joe Webb, CAR: +5.9

Breakdown: Webb cracks this list taking advantage of third stringers and with the highest preseason rushing grade for any quarterback. Still with Derek Anderson hardly lighting things up he has given the Panthers something to think about after returning to the QB spot with them.

Signature Stat: Against the Patriots with 1.31 to go in the game. Webb gives a glimpse of his often erratic upside as in hurry up he throws a perfectly placed back shoulder throw that picks up big yardage.

Yes! If Cam goes down our season is already done. With Webb he can scramble and make something out of nothing, while Anderson would just take the sack or throw the ball away. Webb is very similar to Cam, Anderson is not.

Anderson is a competent QB. He has a very strong, accurate arm. He also knows how to throw the ball away, so he would have less negative plays.

The team would suffer more from losing Luke. (Knock on wood).
