Would you trade Anderson to St Louis?

Id trade anyone- cam luke etc if you meet my needs and wants. For DA at his current contract, id want at least a third rounder and a OT prospect. I greatly value DA and would hate moving given what he's done @ cheap sal plus he's a new father. So id need that third and OT to do something I really don't want to do.

Yeah the problem is Lovie would probably hand over Glennon for a third. The pats would definately hand over Mallet for a third. The Rams can get young, well thought of players with potential. Why bring in DA?

You may be right but I don't think a 6-10 season would be out of the question with DA starting every game.  Doesn't mean I think he sucks or anything but since I would imagine most around here would be happy with us winning 10-11 games I certainly think Cam is worth an additional 4-5 wins over his backup.  I used the 4 win scenario for if we got rid of DA and went with somebody like Webb and I could definitely see that happening as well, although hopefully we wouldn't sink quite that low.

Who the hell knows...Atlanta was 4-12 with Matt Ryan starting all year.  Josh McCown played great for the Bears last season.  Anderson could tear it up for all we know.  But I think we can all agree we'd rather Cam stay healthy.

In my opinion It's like the beason trade last year. We didn't get anything for it that was worth it but something is better than nothing for a guy that is just insurance. I'm sure we could work out some player trade.

Beason was a liability on the field and needed to get out of Luke's way.....plus we did him a solid.

Anderson has value to us....to the rest of the league? Not sure he does

He's a vet. A proven one with 50 TDs, 10,000 yards and a pro bowl. Others are younger and have talent but are less proven than DA. Plus I believe DA is on a vet min 2 year deal. I'm sure DA is a master of more than a few playbooks too(cleve had lots of turn over). While the others only know one or parts of two. What would be too good, is trading bob mememe to the rams for either peanuts or kings ramsom.

Doesn't seem to be a liability for the giants and went over there and became their best linebacker. Doing solids is fine and all but you play to win the game. I'm not sure what anderson value is but the question is would you trade anderson and my answer was yes without a dout.

Plus Beason is a MLB, we did him a solid. He needed to be one and we needed him out of the way.

You would trade DA for a conditional 7th round pick?

Even if he's better right now. What are the rams going to accomplish? 6-10? Is that their ceiling? They are contending with the Cardinals, Seahawks, and Niners.

My train of thought would be more for a player. Derk Anderson isn't superman in my opinion just another guy. He is one of the better backups in the league yes,but any backup that could net a potential starter i would be open to trading. I think he is worth more than a conditional 7th. Don't I would make that deal.
