2015 draft prospects watch thread

What do you guys think about Duke Johnson out of Miami. The man has excellent vision and agility.

I haven't look into Duke Johnson yet. I need to tho.

But, all I'm saying is that I'm already so pumped for next year class. I believe that it's a much better overall draft than this past one.

We are going to be pretty lucky. It's going to be a good one based on our position of needs: OT, WR, CB, RB, S.

Thanks to Gman, we won't need any DL. And, the 2015 will be featuring a lot of DLs going very high which means that the guys we need will probably be available for us.

We could be choosing anywhere from 1-32 and I think we'll come out really happy next year.

Forget the "no to a RB in the 1st round" crybabies. Dwill most likely won't be with us after this season and we don't know what to make out if Stew. If a Melvin Gordon or Todd Gurley is there, I wouldn't hesitate making the pick. Love Mike Davis too.

I agree. This years past draft arguably did not have running back prospects that would be chosen in the first round. This idea that the running back is a dying position is far from the truth. Its true more teams are going to the multiple running back offensive strategies, but if you have a chance to get a Marshawn lynch or a Jamal Charles or even an Alfred Morris, I don't think any team would pass up on them in the first round.

Greene with 203 and a TD

He's going to have a monster year, Winston looks for him every time

i been tooting Rashad Greene since last June, and he was the #1 guy at FSU with Benji there. he does it all, return kicks and punts, plus runs very good routes. has been the leader WR since stepping on campus, and is somebody the panthers should be looking at.

other notables from week 1

Ronald Darby, CB FSU. very good in man coverage, and has plus speed.

Devin Funchess, WR/TE Michigan. a huge hybrid receiving target.

Anthony Harris, S Virginia. ball hawk, that can play man and zone coverage really well. had a pbu on one play where the WR had the ball but Harris got a hand in their to rip it out.

La'el Collins, OT LSU. huge OT, on a pro style, down hill, i-formation running attack. blasted holes all night, and pass protected very well. has light feet, but also a nasty side. he is the perfect LT for the panther offense. some scouts want to move him OG to take advantage of his run blocking, but i think he would make a fine LT.

Todd Gurley, RB Georgia. Huge RB, with 4.4 speed. he will be the 1st RB off the board, and offers return ability showcased by his 100+ yard KO return. from Tarrboro, NC. one of the better jump cutters in college. can run over, around, and through you. have to stay healthy.

Texas A&M OL. when a QB has 44 completions, and over 500 yards throwing, his OL deserves plenty of praise. there are numerous NFL prospects blocking on this OL. Cedric Ogbuehi, Mike Matthews( yes their is another, Jakes little brother), and Germain Ifedi.

Amari Cooper, WR Bama. so smooth, wins on every level with route running and speed. runs good routes and has the ability to take the top off the defense and run intermediate and short routes. all around WR.

edit: Eric Kendricks, LB UCLA. pick 6, forced fumble, tons of tackles. always around the ball. little brother of Mychal Kendricks LB for the eagles.

Exactly.

I hate when people say that you can find RBs in the late rounds. If it's that easy, then how come so many teams are still in need if a RB. Teams get lucky. That's what it is.

In a redo draft, Alfred Morris would be going in the 1st round. Not 6th.

Every year, the teams that can run the ball are the ones in the Playoffs. Even Green Bay a heavy passing offense (2010-2011) were desperate for the running game late in the season into the Playoffs. If they didn't find it with James Starks, they probably wouldn't have been the SB Champs.
