2015 draft prospects watch thread

Imo I think Jaelen needs to add 8-10 pounds. He's listed at 212. Everything else is there, good hands and speed for his size.

He was just screwed out of a catch.

Yea, he is a leaner guy tho. Similar body type to Brandon Marshall. Not saying they're the same but Strong is a damn good back shoulder fade receiver.

Alshon is 6'3" 216lbs so I guess I wouldn't worry too much about Strong's weight.

Man, there's some good games coming up this week.  I know he's not available this upcoming draft, but we need to take a look at Dan Skipper vs that Alabama D.  I'm telling yall, this dude may be that once every 10 years prospect for a position. (LT 6-10 315 weight range.  Dude pancakes guys with one arm)

Phillip Dorsett had a huge game today. really like what he brings to the field.

Jonathan Jones, CB Auburn has been really impressive today as well. read, and reacts very well. has 2 int today so far. has to be more physical, but has world class speed.

Have you been watching Sammie Coats today?

He's been beyond awful today. Dropped one inthe endzone he should've had imo and he let up on another deep ball that was very catchable.

My final straw was on the Nick Marshall INT with 3 minutes left in the 4th. He must of known the play wasn't going his way and he ran his route at about 1/8 speed. Literally 0 effort.

Sterling Shepard had a decent day considering the OU offensive struggles.

Got a TD on a wheel route that was more of a blown assignment by the corner Diggs. And then another 22 yarder on a screen pass. But most importantly he looks very comfortable fielding punts, something we are in desperate need of

I don't think Coates had a bad day.  He's still not 100% healthy for one, but he had some catches called back on penalties.  One on a questionable offensive pass interference call.  I don't know if he gave up on his route on that late deep pass, or if it was a mis-communication and he curled short.  On the last interception, he was going toward the endzone, and the aggie DE clipped Marshall's arm as he was throwing the ball.  That caused the ball to fall short and was picked off.

Looking at his running style, leaping ability, and strength, I'd say Coates looks like a stronger/shorter version of Randy Moss.

Like matthais said, he is still trying to recover from that knee injury. He did have a 68 yarder called back on a bs pi call, but he just does possess that same explosion right now. Plus he lost his awareness and would have had a td but went out first and caught it. I would look for him to be there in 2nd or 3rd round.

Yeah I saw him get lost in the back of the endzone. Didnt see the big play I was flipping through other games. Just wasnt as impressed as I was hoping to be. But yah he's still wearing a pretty big brace on his knee

Just his TD.

He look pretty good? I like his size, NFL body already.

Again lots of options in this draft for a number 2 WR. Not many #1's but definitely some 2's

yeah i agree. would be perfect here. big body, that can block with great athleticism and deep speed.
