Tiquan Underwood Cut

To piggyback off of Tiquan's cut, does anyone know why Bersin will likely make the team this year and not last year if our receiving corps. is better? Can we thank the coaching staff, a year on the practice squad, or the help from some veterans?

From watching the preseason games, Bersin has improved.

Of course he is.

I like the people who said he wasn't, lets you know who isn't worth listening to. It was obvious from day 1 at camp the guy was in.

Ummmm you mean like your self?

The Panthers typically keep up to 5 receivers on their regular season roster. Looking at this list, one could speculate that BERSIN, Clemmons, Webb, and King are the odd men out. If the Panthers do draft one or more wide receivers in May, McNutt and Pilares are on the bubble. Yes, I know McNutt almost caught one pass against Atlanta last season. Cut it out.

Tiquan would have absolutely made our squad last season.

What does that tell you about this year's receivers?

Tiquan Underwood - A former 7th round selection that has managed to stick in the NFL and produce. You should not discount that fact, it shows real drive. He had 4 touchdowns last season and averages 18 yards a reception while being thrown to by inferior talent in Tampa Bay. Underwood could be poised to have a break out year with an actual legitimate QB for the first time in his career. Possible number 2 talent and an upgrade over Brandon Lafell depending on his ceiling

formation: Smoo and Bersin out wide. Cotch/Avant in the slot OR 2 TE set with Greg and Swole/Dickson. any combination of Stewie, Toldozer, and FozzyBear in the backfield. Dlo for outside runs and screens. that offense is SCARY. haha. and i love it.

gonna be an exciting year with this defense to compliment this offense. as my signature says...

Um what? Pilares and McNutt are already on the bubble. In fact, I've been keeping up with training camp and preseason and I would say bersin and king are ahead of them. Brown probably makes the team as wr6 bc of his special teams ability too
