In a lot of ways the Smith/Benjamin switch reminds me of the Delhomme/Cam switch. Aging, waning player gets replaced by a fresh rookie with superior measurables to build on. Except this time, we're not going through a bunch of transitional garbage players like we did after Delhomme (Moore, Clausen, St.Pierre) and cutting right to the chase.
