so "he could have restructured" is baseless speculation because he still has the option of not signing whatever offer the panthers put in front of him.  iirc that's also your pet theory as to why gross retired backed up by as much evidence as the aforementioned

I love Smitty, and he will always have a special place in my heart.

 

I am just tired of hearing about him every freaking day, and getting updates of what he is doing at fugging training camp, what he is saying to the press.

 

If all season we have to filter through all the Steve Smith update threads to find out what is actually going on with the Panthers I am going to just park it in the Tinderbox, Lounge, or something
