This offense will miss Steve Smith

steve smith sr. showed the kind of toughness and resiliency this morning that the panthers offense sorely lacks in his absense

 

he decisively pulled into an open spot at mcdonalds and didn't hesitate to hold the door open for an exiting patron.  after finding his spot in line, smith sr. showed veteran patience and craftiness by listening to what the patrons in front of him were ordering.  the 13-year veteran would then cunningly switch lines when he noticed an individual wearing a tool belt in tandem with paint-spattered jeans.  the man would later go on to place a large, complicated order for his entire work crew while the veteran wideout breezed to paydirt in the other, much faster moving line.

 

smith sr. wasn't done yet.  he'd go on to unflinchingly order a bacon and egg mcgriddle.  not hesitating or waffling for a second, he declined an offer to purchase the value meal which reportedly includes a hashbrown and coffee.  smith sr. proved he can still make a man miss in a phone booth, deftly weaving his way through a throng of other hungry patrons en route to his parked vehicle.

Eh, the receivers played pretty well.  Unless Smith could play Oline or Dline, he wouldn't have made us better, although Baltimore might have only beat us 24-10 without him.
