Something that could happen in SF (per yahoo) is Brandon Lloyd beating out Stevie Johnson for the #3 spot behind Boldin/Crabtree.  They wouldn't want to pay him as is to be their number 4 and if they want to roll with Lloyd, SJ could hit the open market.    

 

He would be an upgrade over Cotchery/Avant which is what any FA we bring in at WR (if any) should at the least be.

James Anderson was cut from New England. I'd love to see him back here on the cheap for depth.

I would love that. Maybe sign him and Senn, cut Jacobs and someone else. That's a deep, amazing bunch of LBs, that could dominate Special Teams play, too.

9 year tackle Winston Justice was cut by the Broncos

 

Played in 4 games last year, the year before started 12 in Denver.  

 

Had pretty much 2 full years starting for the Eagles and was decent depth for them otherwise.  

 

With tackle, it's hard to come by cut-players that are in their 20s with starting experience so I can see it being an older vet or another promising yout' with less experience.  I would much prefer older vet.

I would love Senn back. ST ace and leader. Starting experience at LB. Like guys like that.

ST aces does not get called for holding penalties or let the other team recover short kick offs. Senn did.

Bring back James Anderson. Would be a great backup to TD and Klein if they happen to get hurt / under-perform (respectively).

Hate that Anderson has been cut.  He seemed to really shine in his final year here, wished he would continue the good play elsewhere. If we can get him back on the cheap, I'd be all for that.

We are set at King and Bersin along with Benjamin.  We need O-line and Safety. Bell and Chandler are dinged up. Harper and Lester are dinged up. Time for some Gettleman magic.

I don't know if Anderson lost a step since leaving here but I have always thought we lacked depth at LB after Klein. Anderson would be a nice back up IMO. We would be in great shape with Winston Justice on our squad, starter or back up.

Also anyone know what happened to Terrell Thomas in Seattle? If he can still play then he would be an upgrade over Godfrey, Thomas, and Norman for sure.

Let's hope Gettleman can find some gems dumpster diving once again.

He's more of an LT.  And it could also be a homecoming for him with Kalil if we go for him.  I just don't know how he is anymore but he'd be at the least sufficient depth.
