deangelo williams apologizes to byron bell

"I felt like I learned a lesson today," Bell said. "I can’t come out slow, I’ve got to come out fast, come out on fire. We’ve got to come out fast and come out swinging early. I feel like if we do that we’ll be fine." Bell said Williams apologized on the sideline afterwards.

Wait, he didn't already know this?  He thought coming out slow was OK?  He had to "learn" the "lesson" that coming out slow was bad?

Josh Norman makes great plays but shows too much emotion. Bell gets beat shows no emotion or disappointment. No doghouse.

Bell comes out and has a good game and then the next game  and gets his ass whooped because he doesnt freakin no you need to come out ready to go from the start of the game to the finish not slow/lazy, and he is in his 4th season. ITS JUST AS BAD.

DWill's chip block is nullified when Jones gets gets his right hand placed on the back of DWill's shoulder (DWill stops and dips to lean into him). Jones avoids DWill's contact completely - if anything, Jones uses DWIll as a shove off point to get to Cam quicker

Like I said earlier, Jones gets the first punch on Bell and shoves his right shoulder while Bell's right foot is off the ground. It twists Bell's torso in a way that gives Jones an inside inside track towards Cam. Jones power won the battle because he places Byron out of position

I thought Bell did fine. At some points Cam had eternity to throw. Other times he had more pressure than just Jones. Bell is an easy scapegoat, but we should remember that no one is perfect. Even Gross got beat sometimes.

That's Bell not making a block on a 215lb safety. If Bell would have leveled him and drove him toward the sidelines, DWill wouldn't have to cut back inside and could have followed Silatolu all the way around the defense.

There's plenty of positive plays I've seen watching Bell in this game, but it's things like this that fans can understandably dislike about him. I'm rooting for him to succeed because it helps the team, but people have the right to be skeptical.
