I think I was wrong about Kelvin Benjamin

Lead National NFL Writer For Bleacher Report Aaron Nagler:

I will admit - Kelvin Benjamin looks ten times better than I thought he would this early on.

Assistant Editor for BuffaloBillsDraft.com Joe Marino:

Joe Marino @ TheJoeMarino

Kelvin Benjamin has really looked better than I anticipated he would.

This is what Pete Prisco had to say about the Panthers drafting KB:

"Kelvin Benjamin is a big receiver, but I liked others more...Grade: D"

Honestly, mid-way through last season he was my #1 choice and was all the way until Gross retired. Then I lost my way and coveted the position of LT over the guy I wanted.

After the draft my friend said, "you are an idiot. You preach BPA then when your team takes the guy you wanted for five months, a guy who was BPA and at a position of severe need you are worried." He was right

KB is a guaranteed mismatch on every play.  The elite offenses load up on mismatch players and allow QB’s to make the pre-snap read to go to those guys.  Denver, N.E. and the Saints do this for 4 quarters and put up 30 plus points per game.  I think teams will blanket him all season.  The question is if KB being doubled teamed will open up other aspects of this offense enough to put up points.  If they can do that I think our defense is good enough to put up a bunch of wins again.

I agree and I think they are saving this for the regular season.

I hope so.  I won't be shocked if that's not entirely true though..  This team is set up to run 2 TE sets as a staple offense and it will be a huge shame if used sparingly.
