I think we will run a lot of two TE sets this year with Olson and Dickson/Williams. It wouldn't surprise me if Dickson has more receiving yards than Cotchery this year.

I would also like to see Bersin tried with the ones. The kid deserves a chance. I really want to see if what he does against the two's and threes he can do with the big boys. I see no reason to wait until the season starts to see if Avant and Cotchery will catch on when we are seeing what we are seeing from Bersin. Question is...is he for real?

Avant has been fine considering he's Cam's third target at best, and more often he's gonna be his fourth target. Most of the catches and yardarge from that stat belong to him anyway, and he's only played like 5 quarters this preseason.

Cotchery is more worrisome because he's literally done NOTHING, and on plays where we have to keep a TE in for pass blocking, he's gonna be Cam's 2nd option. Hopefully it's just a preseason/comfort/something thing.
