I'd have to go back and look at it, but I don't think the patriots had 5 corners out there, which is the point. Hoping to get a linebacker on Williams or Olsen. But even if that happens, it's not an automatic completion or anything.

 

I have to rewatch it as well, which I wont after this garbage. I'm sure we'll do it in the regular season. The point I was making is the defense never changes when we do that. Nobody switches or anything. D.WIll goes out, the closest corner to that side always cover him. (Again I'll have to rewatch it) I rather us come out with an empty backfield and put 4 WR with Olsen making 5 instead of 3 WR, D.will making it 4 and Olsen as 5

Eh, maybe somebody can breakdown the defense tomorrow. In any event, it didn't work very well.

This biggest disappointment to me was the max protect 3rd and long when we sent three receivers down the left sideline. Literally 4 Patriots had no one to cover and blitzed the pocket out of boredom.
