UPDATE 4:08 p.m. ET:  According to the Tampa Bay Times, Evans’ agent says that the video was shot in March.  That would potentially make Evans exempt from scrutiny under the personal-conduct policy, since he wasn’t an employee of any NFL team in March.

 

Dunno. NFL had no problem suspending Terrelle Pryor for 5 NFL games for a NCAA violation. IIRC, Pryor had to agree to the suspension before they would allow him in the supplemental draft. I think the NFL can pretty much do what it wants if the incident isn't covered specially in the CBA.

 

If there were no video I doubt Evans would get any punishment. With video, it creates the public impression that NFL players are out of control.

That just says the video was shot in March it doesn't say when the actual fight was.

Between him, kelvin, Watkins and beckham it was pretty obvious who who was the highest risk. Had a poor attitude at A&M. Then again so did Johnny. Maybe it's a A&M thing.
