I'm pretty worried about CJ, didn't he play last game?  Now he's back out.  Not good.

 

I know it's just because I follow this team hardcore compared to other teams, but I feel like our health on Madden collectively as a team should be like rating 5.

 

Not worried in the least bit. CJ being out is just precautionary since he has practiced. He doesn't need the reps.

I am just glad it isn't like it used to be where sometimes the best didn't play the entire preseason.  With full price tickets though, now teams got to give the people something.

Running the ball mixed wisely with quick developing pass plays I hope will be the way for the Panthers offense. The Pats will look to blitz and pressure Cam with their D-line because they are well aware that his ankle is not 100% (a fact made well known by Riverboat in a recent interview....or is it a smokescreen?) and that our O-line is not 100% either. This situation concerns me. Hopefully I am underestimating Williams and Scott. Maybe another year of experience and coaching by our capable O-line coaches has made them a degree or two better than the last time I saw them used extensively.

First of all we are playing New England not Blitzburg this week.  They really don't blitz that much and will likely try and stop the run and force us to pass which is great practice for Cam.  Secondly, Johnson didn't play last game and it was fine.  It is great to get the other guys more playing time given that injuries do happen no matter what.  Thirdly, I am not sure that Williams and Scott will be a big drop off from Turner and Chandler.  Both Scott and Williams  have signficantly more experience at their positions than the guys they are replacing who have 2 games under their belt.  Sure Turner is the future at guard but Chandler despite all the hype in camp hasn't really looked that good which is understandable given his inexperience at this point.

He is giving that veteran leadership and telling guys to avoid hairdye if they grey prematurely.

If anything Harper can give knowledge. Gettleman knows what he's doing. His track record so far has been a strong pimp hand when it comes to contracts and talent evaluation. A small blemish isn't going to break or dismiss what he has done so far for this organization.
