I love Kelvin, but I think it's too soon for him to be included in this.

Let him play an nfl game first.

I concur, mainly based off of hype its unfair compare to superbowl/HOF'er. But I was a huge kev believer during he draft and even right now believe he has the skill/talent to be a top five WR for 5-7 years....later on. To me each (barring injuries or woman troubles) could have 10+ nfl career at very high levels. Each are like a glimpese into the future of what would be a near perfect model. Being a homer to the max.......

It is exciting, that's for sure.

What I like is that Cam and Luke are getting big endorsement money.  That can help

us pay Star and  KK and keeping other good players.

I really wish there was some type of rule in the NFL that made players that team's draft take less of a cap hit than those that are signed as free agents.

Like a "home-grown" rule.

I didn't mean that they would get paid less, just count less against the cap.

They could potentially make more from a rule like that.

Ohhhh well in that case, the owners would NEVER agree to that. It would virtually eliminate free agency and mean you're one poor gm making some poor drafting decisions away from being crippled for years.

While we are on this subject, does anyone have any clue how in the hell are we going to pay all these stars we drafted? We draft so well its going to be a challenge to sign all these studs.. Good problem to have I suppose

You pay the guys you deem your core, then you refill with the other guys with great draft picks, UFDA's, free agent/stop gaps, until the others develop; just the way Gettleman appears to be doing it now.

Given star contines and kev lives up to the hype, has there been a better four year haul for first rounders?

Like in the history of NFL?....??...

First thought is ravens, 1996-1999
