It looks like I was wise to leave Kenjon Barner off of my roster last week. After speaking with Jonathan Jones on the last night, he almost has me convinced the Panthers keep Joe Webb, mainly as trade bait. Could be, but I'm not there yet.

I now have Josh Thomas over Josh Norman. Norman's bone headed penalty drew the rage of coach Rivera. I like Josh Norman, but I feel like there is no more room in the Ron Rivera Doghouse for him. Sometimes players just can't get out of their own way. Norman can prove me wrong Friday night, and I hope he does.

Now that 10 players are allowed on the practice squad, I have a feeling a few more offensive line prospects from other teams may be on it.

 

Barring a disastrous Game 3 and 4, F. Whitaker will make the team, not only for his running, but for his Punt return ability.

 

Look for Whitaker to return punts in the Pats game, if not the next one.

But Allen is an OLB not a safety.

Is it a yes or a no? he is not on your list, not even on your practice squad.

If you can watcht the game again Allen is very fast and effective.

But he is playing against their second or even third string, make it hard to reach a conclusion.

But Allen is an OLB not a safety.

he's a little undersized for OLB imo. He was projected to be a SS in the NFL coming out of college.

If we start out the season 6-0 which is certainly a possibility, I can almost guarantee you we'd be contacting him and he'd be thinking it over. He wants a ring and may pull a Favre. Could you imagine Olsen and Tony in 2 TE sets. Not only that, but Tony could help mentor both Dickson and mainly Swole Bones. Williams learning under Tony for a year, we win Super Bowl with Tony, Tony retires and then bam, Brandon Williams takes the league by storm with 1000 some yards and 10+ touchdowns. I may be dreaming but damn that would be fuging awesome.

It would be best for him to be released and picked up elsewhere. He doesn't have a shot at breaking our LB roster
