Anyone watching Barner tonight? I basically watched the Eagles game to see how he played. He looks a lot better but then again the eagles are dominating. I think Barner might be in a better situation in Philly.

As a returner, Barner had little opportunity to showcase his skills although he fumbled a kickoff late in the game. But as the Eagles did all night, Philadelphia's offense drove all over the Steelers with Barner in the game. He is a lesser version of McCoy who has some wiggle and can get to the edge. Barner, who played for Chip Kelly at Oregon, fits the offense very well.}

it's a refection of the offense that the eagles run. barner fits what they're doing there. he still has some kinks to work out, but he should see more success than what he did here.

put barner in seattle's offense and watch him struggle the same way he struggled in carolina.

It means Chip Kelly uses him in an offense that Barner fits and is familiar with.

 

Which is beyond Mike Shula's wildest imaginations.
