Eagles trade for Barner

That's what I should have said.

Anyone watching Barner tonight? I basically watched the Eagles game to see how he played. He looks a lot better but then again the eagles are dominating. I think Barner might be in a better situation in Philly.

I thought i was the only one. He had some pretty good runs. I'm rooting for him so we can get that 7th round conditional pick!

In Kenjon Barner's first game in an Eagles' uniform, he was Philadelphia's top return man for both punts and kickoffs and finally got carries early in the fourth quarter. As a returner, Barner had little opportunity to showcase his skills although he fumbled a kickoff late in the game. But as the Eagles did all night, Philadelphia's offense drove all over the Steelers with Barner in the game. He is a lesser version of McCoy who has some wiggle and can get to the edge. Barner, who played for Chip Kelly at Oregon, fits the offense very well.

It always amazes me when a player can change teams and now he is the next McCoy.  lol

chip kelly is using him properly… whether this is a reflection on chip kelly or a reflection on mike shula idk

it's a refection of the offense that the eagles run. barner fits what they're doing there. he still has some kinks to work out, but he should see more success than what he did here.

put barner in seattle's offense and watch him struggle the same way he struggled in carolina.

It means Chip Kelly uses him in an offense that Barner fits and is familiar with.

Which is beyond Mike Shula's wildest imaginations.

But plod-and-eat-clock is what Rivera wants.  It worked last year.  I'm all for it as long as its working.

Stop throwing it to KB! Youre playing our hand too soon!

These two are going to do damage.

The OL is atrocious. I don't care how "humble" or "hard-working" Byron Bell is. He's a terrible football player and we are putting the fate of our entire season on his shoulders because he got rowdy at practice one day.
