I dont understant, never will. He catches, blocks, runs good routes. I mean he was always very serviceable. . . I just wouldnt. . toss it to him with the game on the line.

I think some perceived LaFell's comments earlier this offseason as insulting. Might be a bit much, but I can see it.

And I agree that he's a talented guy with, to date, an average mental aspect to his game. Maybe being in NE will change that.

Being serious, I do wish him well as a person.Seemed like a nice enough guy just unreliable when the chips where down.And I dislike the Patriots and the coach so fug them.

I mean it's pretty much coach speak. It's not like he's going to come out and say "damn this guy is terrible! Why did we invest so much money in him?"

 

We have the benefit of knowing who he is and how he plays. I will wait until the regular season gets here before I pass judgement on how well a former Panther is playing. And dude didn't leave under THAT bad of terms (see Smith, Steve) so there's really no reason to be butthurt about him even if he does figure out how to catch a ball in NE.

This board is basically paralyzed by the fact that Lafell

1) Signed a nice contract

2) With a playoff team and

3) Is doing well so far

 

But Lafail!

 

He is going to potentially be a nice role player for the patridicks. It's OK.
