...can you have a ‘go-to’ rookie receiver in the NFL like Kelvin Benjamin?

“It sure seems that way,” says Delhomme.  “Anything near him he snags” and even dropped that the Panther’s wide receiver coach Proehl and others in the organization were in love with Benjamin.

With other big men like TE, almost receiver-like, Greg Olsen, healthy running backs in Williams/Stewart, and two big wideouts like Avant and Cotchery, Jake gave his endorsement on Cam Newton’s 2014-15 offensive weapons.

Delhomme did have some insight on Cotchery by saying that quarterbacks like Brett Favre used the veteran WR as a “security blanket” and loved throwing the ball to him.

Listened to the audio in the linked page. He also talks about talking with Ricky Prohel and talk about Smitty and how he was in the locker room... And also Jake picks on Gross about his weight loss, and looks now.

Some years back the team site did a thing where they had players interviewing each other. I forget who Jake interviewed, but it was great.

He could absolutely make a living as a sports talk guy, but he's got other pursuits at the moment.

You're god damn right.
