My momma didn't raise no dummy, and I routinely speak of Cam as the GOAT, because it's what I believe with all my heart.  Simple really.  The greatest statistically after three years as a pro, the greatest skillset, and simply a total resume as a 25 year old athlete on par or greater than anyone in the history of team sports.

How come when people hate on Cam, some of you fools always play the race card in his defense? I mean damn, not everything is because Cam is black. So please stop bringing his race into it. People have the wrong idea about him because of his attitude the first season or two. I didn't like him his first season either. I enjoyed watching him play but the guy didn't have the best attitude. He's turned that into a positive attitude and I love it. Some people are still stuck on that and the college thing. Why? Because their fug tards, not racist.

Now please stop bringing race into the discussion every time somebody criticizes Cam.

That being said, I love the guy. He's turned into a leader and I love the energy he brings to the field. He is coming off ankle surgery and he hasn't had enough time with his receivers yet. So everybody calling for his head, give the guy a break.

If they are judging him from one preseason outing, after a year like last year, then they obviously don't know football.

Cam will show out vs the Sucs, week 1, and those people will eat crow. Mark my words.

People that didn't think he would be any good felt stupid after his first two NFL games. The way his numbers sort of fell after that made them regain focus on "See he's not that good” instead of "This is the greatest rookie quarterback performance of all-time." He wins ROY & this makes them dislike him. He's gotten better every season while smiling with every step. This makes them hate him. Let's be honest, the same ones here that didn't want us to draft him would hate him too if we didn't & he was on some other team shining. He has a ways to go to reach his ceiling (which he will), but we grasp on to how far he is towards that ceiling while the "haters" hold on to how far he is from that ceiling. I personally love it. Haters are entertaining.

Reporter A says Cam is fake, Reporter B shrugs and says yeah I dont know much about football but Reporter A knows his stuff so I'll say what he's saying so I look good. Reporter C says well Carolina doesnt have as many fans as Washington,  'If I write a piece that talks Bob up and puts Cam down, lots of people are going to click it' and my boss is going to love that. Reporter C figures it doesnt really matter whats true as long as people are clicking his stuff. Now football fans everywhere have "expert opinions" telling them that Cam is fake and Bob III is the next Steve Young. Now Fans think theyre smart because theyre listing to smart experts. Those fans have their own agenda to want to start their favorite Has Been from college and by golly "Im SMARRT, IM GONNA TELL EVERYONE!"

I am honestly shocked by the number of callers to talk radio today calling for Cam's head. What the flying hell? Cam is coming off his second Pro Bowl appearance in three years, an ankle surgery, and he's never looked good in preseason that I can remember. Yet there are people all over Facebook and WFNZ just GNASHING THEIR TEETH today over how he played. And he played FINE after the first quarter.

 

Are we just going to have to learn to deal with this crap for the duration of his career? If you found yourself ripping Cam today and were one of the people calling for Derek Anderson to start, I heard the Ferguson PD is hiring.

 

That shows how powerful today's media is. Cam is supposed to always play mistake free football, something NOT ONE QB will ever do, or he's a failure.

 

I am sitting  here watching the Skins/Brown game, and both RG and Manzell suck but by tomorrow the fans from both teams will still sing their praises and make excuses for those God awful throws. 

 

Cam clearly had rust in the beginning of last nights game but started to hit his target in the second half. I actually found last night's game quite entertaining because both teams were moving the ball. This game I am now watching is a serious snoozefest. Neither QB can throw a straight ball, yet you never heard the phrase accuracy issues at all.

So basically u're saying the media controls the mindset of today's football fan. They do nothing more than regurgitate what the media spews and the media makes them feel like they too know what they are talking about by repeating their own talking points..

I would say in terms of everything that really defines a quaterback. you could argue leadership accuracy but,beyond that I think there is very little Cam isn't better than jake at. Bojangles commericals?
