I guess Fozzy can't be neglected. Sorenson portrays Whitaker's character via the Observer.

I can see Fozzy as a modern Nick Goings.. Reliable step-in guy, makes the occasional decent play, you don't feel thAt bad if a starter goes down & he has to fill the void... Always liked 37.......

Actually he reminds me of a more reserved Fred Lane...

If it wasn't for giving guys shots when they are playing at a level to earn them, we wouldn't know about people like Lane, Goings, or even Brad Hoover...

I'm not going to hate on Barner, but he hasn't made the best of the opportunities he's been given.

Funny how a couple of weeks ago, Darrin Reaves was Fozzy Whitaker.  And before Reaves, it was Gaffney.  J.Stew was already being ushered out to the pasture, then in one game, looks like fantasy gold!  I love it!  I love the competition that we have at RB and the fact that we have an ample supply of carriers, should mean amazing things for our offense this season.

If Fozzy can run like this with the first string he will become the starting RB in a couple of years.. Less?

Or / and the third string offensive line + blockers are good too.

Do we have a single weakness?

Is it the strongest Panthers team ever?

This is VERY possible..

Thanks, Tom. Way to make it look like we keep our UDFA's in the boiler room.

In related news, Matt Blanchard is being forced to be JR's shirtless piss-boy.

I guess the question now is will we see more of this kid, maybe even some with the ones since we have a quick turn around this week? I'm unsure of how Stew needs to be handled. Work him harder since he's finally healthy? Or rest the hell out of him?
