This.  He was THE guy I wanted in that draft given our needs.  I thought we blew the chance of getting him by winning some games late when we were already out of contention.  He's honestly the guy I would've wanted if we were sitting on the board #1 overall.  Unheard of to get that kind of guy as late as we picked.

he was my pipe dream best case scenario pick in 2013.

 

i remember it slowly becoming apparent on draft night that he might actually fall to us.  when he slipped out of the top 10 i was holding my breath until the jets drafted richardson although he's a hell of a player himself.  after that you knew it was all but automatic and star would be a panther.
