2 police office shot on North Tryon and Tom Hunter rd.  Suspect barricaded himself in the house.  Traffic map says traffic flow slow to stop in that area.

Ok... got the suspect.  Not sure how long their will investigate.

Brandon Jamorris Brewer, 27, is in police custody in connection with the shooting.

In a press conference on Sunday afternoon, Police Chief Rodney Monroe said, "It's a very lucky day that nobody is dead and nobody seriously injured."

Police said a 10-year-old girl was home with a sibling when Brewer knocked on the door. According to police, Brewer pulled out a shotgun and shot through a window.

 

He shot at 10 yeard old with a shotgun thru the window.  Child is injured but ok.
