I smoked a brisket yesterday.

I am going to sauté some onions and mushrooms at the tailgate today and make brisket Philly cheesesteak sammiches with onions and shrooms on kings Hawaiian rolls.

I make my own rub. Mediterranean sea salt, cummin, cilantro, crushed red pepper, black pepper, chipotle, then mix with apple vinegar and water. Let it marinate for maybe 30 mins then charcoal that baby.

Love beer can chicken as well.

sounds really good.  I love grilled chicken, just the dark meat though.  I prefer grilled chicken wings to fried, and I LOVE fried chicken wings.  

 

My favorite is "roadside chicken", which is common in fundraisers.  Are you familiar with it?

no way man, true grilled burgers rock.  And squash and lots of other vegetables reach their zenith when grilled over hickory.
