My day at Yankee Stadium

As a partial season ticket holder, the team had a Take The Field day today for some fans while the Yankees are down in Tampa. I got to see behind the scenes (serious No Cameras Allowed), take batting practice in the indoor cage, shag fly balls in the outfield, hang out in the dugouts, pitch in the bullpen and oh yeah ... TAKE BATTING PRACTICE FROM BEHIND HOME PLATE! That last one still hasn't sunk in yet. Here are a few photos ...

That type of stuff is always fun, one of my favorite pictures is of my father and I in the Red Sox dugout.  Glad you got that opportunity, even if it was with the enemy =)

I was just there this past Tuesday night to see the Astros play the Yanks.

 

Beautiful stadium.
