Bayern starting to find their form, 16-0 over the last four league games since the scoreless draw against Hamburger.  Have not allowed a goal since the August 30th draw at Schalke.

Meanwhile, Dortmund loses again.  Still only a quarter of the way through the season but they are really making CL qualification look tougher and tougher every week.  Wow.

Standings updated (finally, haha)

Again it is early but as of right now Leverkusen, Schalke, and Dortmund would all be watching CL from their couches next season.

Still upset about Bayern's scoreless draw with Hamburger.  They are sitting in the relegation zone.

The first eight games of the second round of DFB Pokal were today:

*denotes second division team, **denotes third division team, ***denotes regional representative

***Chemnitzer FC 0

Werder Bremen 2

*Arminia Bielefeld 0 (4)

Hertha Berlin 0 (2)

***Kickers Offenbach 1

*Karlsruher SC 0

*VfR Aalen 2

Hannover 96 0

*Dynamo Dresden 2

*VfL Bochum 1

***MSV Duisburg 0 (1)

1. FC Koln 0 (4)

*1. FC Kaiserslautern 2

*Greuther Furth 0

*FC St. Pauli 0

Borussia Dortmund 3

Four second division teams (Kaiserslautern, Dresden, Aalen, and Arminia Bielefeld) and one regional representative (Kickers Offenbach) advance to the Round of 16.  Only Werder Bremen, FC Koln, and Dortmund advance.  So weird how Dortmund has been lost in the Bundesliga but is rolling in other competitions.

They are borderline relegation pace in the league, and in blistering form in UCL. Wtf.

Bayern hosts Dortmund this weekend so they could be there after this weekend.  They better keep up their CL form, it is starting to look like winning it is their only way back for next season.

I know they will not actually get relegated but can you imagine if they won CL and got relegated in the same season?

That would be unbelievable. A squad playing in UCL and not even in the top flight of their own country.

    • I think a lot of wrs are going to go in the second round before we pick.  There are a lot of wr needy teams.  I think there will be a big run on them in the late 30s and 40s.
    • Interesting that they met with Walker three times and Cam Jackson twice.
