We might end up being in the last quadrant of offensive stats and still end up winning twelve games. Executing in key moments is all that matters and we have the clout on defense and the newtscootinboogie to get it done.

This. People seem to forget that this was the formula to success last year and nothing has really changed on the roster to keep that same formula from succeeding.

The thing about the Panthers never having back to back winning seasons is there are only 3 or 4 players left on the whole squad that were around last time we had a winning season. This is a completely different team and coaching staff. So the only thing that's the same from this time coming off a winning season and 2008 is the Panthers name across the jersey. You make your own luck...and this teams core is much more talented than the last go around it's not even funny.

Cam, Luke, Hardy, KB,Rivera...it's all brand new. Stop acting like we are destined to be shitty because of what's happened in the past with a completely different roster.

It will quickly become annoying when all the "experts" cover their own asses by saying "what a surprise season" and how the panthers "exceeded all expectations" and "how no one could have ever predicted this", when we have another good year. Experts are a joke.

Like last season when Jamie Dukes was on the Macattack and said that the Panthers along with the Cardinals were the only NFC teams that had zero chance of making the playoffs.

He was back on last week again saying the same things about not giving Cam weapons or getting O-line... Always a fun party with him

Yeah I was waiting for someone to say that when I made the initial post.  Your right though, they definitely aren't expert.  I got a little lazy there I suppose.  Anyways, just summarizing the average opinion on our Panthers by Experts and Fans outside of Carolina.  We apparently have no chance and should just raise the surrender flag.  It sure will be interesting to see after the season plays out, how close they all were to the actual results of the season.

We seem to be a very popular target this year for downgrading and 'worst lists'. It doesn't help that our history predicts a losing record after a successful season. Winning the close games will be key to proving the 'experts' wrong.

Good thing we have a bunch of huge receivers, a star QB who knows how to pull out clutch wins, and talented(albeit old) RBs. That sets us up well to perform at the end of close games.
