You are missing Gantt's reasoning for that detail. Giving us Smith's reaction can allow us to put the injury into some perspective before knowing anything about it. Another writer said he kicked his helmet in frustration, which doesn't sound good. If he was nodding his head and acting positive about it, we'd feel safe thinking the cart ride was just procedure.

i hope not, im gonna think with a glass half full mentality and say he restrained his shoulder he hurt last year and is kept out some during training camp and is fresh and ready for the eagles coming opening day
