So far I hear that X-rays are negative so it wasn't separated, broken or seriously sprained. He won't play in preseason because it makes sense to give it time to rest plus we need to see the others guys fighting for a spot.

Rumours of his demise appear to be very premature at this time.

Well made for a little Monday night drama, and conversing with friends :cheers2:

charlotte.com says Smitty's arm was in a sling tonight at dinner in the cafeteria.

....its a little creepy how much we get to know now days.

hopefully thats nothing more than a precautionary thing to help him rest it. hell prob miss the rest of training camp and most of the preseason games juss to make sure hes 100% for the regular season

Ryne is a punt returner, do you think he'd ever have trouble adjusting to a ball? I find it funny that so many people try to talk badly about Jake's deep throwing abilities when he's one of the better QB's in the league at doing so...

Questioning Jake's accuracy is foolish. Questioning his decision making on the other hand...

i agree, let our younger guys up the depth chart and give them playing time in the preseason.

Wasnt 06 the year mushin lead the league in recieving (even over to before the trade to chicago) and steve smith had a broken legg......correct me if im wrong

how could i forget the year of meshawn when we went 8-8. 04 was mushin's year and i think we went 7-9 with the game ending playing against new orleans and got our field goal blocked at the end. dont know why im thinking of that year of 04 all of sudden (deja vu maybe).

On a more positive note, at least Chris Gamble is applying the hard hits to guys. Our best corner plus hard hitting, hoepfully he does this to Roy Williams on a nationally televised game. :)

Not to be a downer, but I don't think that was a good hit in practice. It's probably really hard for Gamble to compute, but in practice you wrap up and end that play. You don't lay wood like that on the franchise the second week of TC.

While I do agree with you, I try to be a constant beacon of positivity. If you can hurt Steve Smith, you can hurt Larry Fitzgerald, and that would make me happy for so many reasons.

W/o Smith our recieving core is :nonod::banghead:nada,is Jake going to throw to just Moose all day,I'm not sold on DJ!

Take away his number one target and he would have to spread the ball around. Either that, or confirm everything that everyone has said about him since the Arizona game.

Of course, I feel it's important to point out that his number one target won't be missing too much, if any, of the preseason.
