Just realized the Seahawks are on the schedule again

I just can't help but notice the number of plays made on Godfrey, Norman, Munnerlyn, and DJ Moore. I mean straight up throwing up a prayer type nonsense. I believe we have upgraded, while hopefully Norman and Godfrey can make huge strides in holding down their assignments.

That video ironically was made by a Seahawks fan trying to show how their line was manhandled and Wilson had no time, and how their line looks no better this year. Never-mind our complete smothering of Lynch not shown in the video, again, in our rookie DT's first game.

Our D is going to eat this year.  Did you notice the way KK was absolutely whipping the Bills o-line last week?  All our DBs will have to do is make plays.

I've seen Saints fans talking about how their team should only be focused on beating Seattle because they won the Superb Owl last year. I had fun reminding them that the Panthers are focused on beating Seattle because we actually had to play them this year.

They couldn't quite wrap their heads around the concept. I giggled.

All Saints fans are worried about is securing home field advantage in the playoffs. The Saints had never won a road playoff game in their history until they won their wildcard card game @Eagles last playoffs in a close battle decided by 2 points

Under Brees and Payton, Saints are an undefeated 4-0 at home in the playoffs, but only 1-4 on the road in the playoffs, with the win being that Eagles game last season

of course for both Panthers and Saints fans (and the rest of the NFC), the Seahawks and 49ers are the teams to beat. Both are ranked the top two teams in the NFC by everybody (ESPN, CBS, NBC, NFL.com, SI, Yahoo, etc)

49ers knocked us out of the playoffs last year. And the 3 times the Saints got knocked out of the playoffs since their Super Bowl were by the 49ers or Seahawks (twice @Seahawks, once @49ers).

Since 1/1/2011, the 49ers and Seahawks are 8-2 vs the Panthers and Saints, including 4-0 in the playoffs (the 2 wins were Panthers 10-9 over 49ers and Saints 23-20 over 49ers, both last regular season). All-time, the 49ers and Seahawks are 5-0 vs the Panthers and Saints in the playoffs (2005-2006 playoffs, 2010-2011 playoffs, 2011-2012 playoffs, and twice in 2013-2014 playoffs)

But yes, the Seahawks in particular are the team to beat. Since 2010, they are 6-0 vs the Panthers and Saints (3-0 vs each), 2-0 in the playoffs (beating the Saints at Seattle both times). This season, the Packers and the Broncos will have their shot at the Seahawks first (Sept 4 and 21), but both those games are at Seattle, where the Seahawks are 17-1 over the last two seasons.

Then it will be the Panthers turn on Oct. 26 in BOA Stadium, were all the NFL will marvel at the Greatness of the Panthers when we take down the Seahawks. It will be awesome.

It's why we're going back to the playoffs. Maybe not with 12 wins, but January football for our boys.

As for the Seahawks, many of their fans truly feel they're a dynasty and Wilson>Cam. They were a gnats azz from losing to the worst team in football, the worst team in their division, and the worst team in the NFC South (Texans, Rams, Bucs at home), getting smoked for the majority of those games. If our boys feel like I do and how our fans should, then Mecklenburg EMT needs to provide extra manpower and body bags on Oct 26.
