Since nobody said it on the first page and I'm not willing to go any further... Who gives a f*ck?

1. Cam Newton. He's nearly indestructible, so who cares.

2. We all thought Derek Anderson was ass until he was on our squad. Don't pretend that cause he did well in one preseason game means he's a stud backup.

3. It's NFL.com... They have opinions just as much as we do.

4. Who gives a f*ck?

Can anybody explain to me what in the flaming hell Ryan Griffin has done to be ranked in the top half of backups across the league?

That alone tells me not to take this article seriousl (not that I would have anyway given the subject).

saints fans are calling him "RG4" so he's already got a lame nickname which can't hurt

he doesn't even get the top back-ups right. For ex, he had Scott Tolzien as the top back-up for the Packers over Matt Flynn, one of the best back-up QBs in football. Tolzien is no threat to Flynn (in the first preseason game, Tolzien was horrid, completing 41.2% of his passes for 0 TD and 3 INT)

here is how the back-ups he listed (as well as Flynn) rank by career passer rating...

0. Matt Flynn, GB - 88.3 rating, 17 TD, 10, INT

1. Shaun Hill , STL - 85.9 rating, 41 TD, 23 INT

2t. Mike Glennon , TB - 83.9 rating, 19 TD, 9 INT

2t. Chase Daniel , KC - 83.9 rating, 1 TD, 1 INT

4. Matt Hasselbeck, IND - 82.1 rating, 201 TD, 148 INT

5. Jason Campbell , CIN - 81.8 rating, 87 TD, 60 INT

6. Michael Vick , NYJ - 80.9 rating, 128 TD, 85 INT

-------------------------------------------------

7. Matt Moore , MIA - 79.3 rating, 33 TD, 28 INT

8. Tarvaris Jackson , SEA - 78.5 rating, 39 TD, 35 INT

9. Case Keenum , HOU - 78.2 rating, 9 TD, 6 INT

10. Brian Hoyer , CLE - 77.4 rating, 7 TD, 6 INT

11. Dan Orlovsky , DET - 76.0 rating, 14 TD, 12 INT

12. Brandon Weeden , DAL - 71.8 rating, 23 TD, 26 INT

13. Mark Sanchez , PHI - 71.7 rating, 68 TD, 69 INT

14. T.J. Yates, ATL - 71.4 rating, 3 TD, 6 INT

-------------------------------------------------

15. Derek Anderson , CAR - 69.1 rating, 53 TD, 55 INT

16t. Kirk Cousins , WAS - 68.6 rating, 8 TD, 10, INT

16t. Kellen Clemens , SD - 68.6 rating, 15 TD, 20 INT

18. Scott Tolzien, GB - 66.8 rating, 1 TD, 5 INT

19. Blaine Gabbert , SF - 66.4 rating, 22 TD, 24 INT

20. Bruce Gradkowski , PIT - 65.8 rating, 21 TD, 24 INT

21. Charlie Whitehurst, TEN - 64.6 rating, 3 TD, 4 INT

22. Drew Stanton , AZ - 63.1 rating, 5 TD, 9 INT

-------------------------------------------------

23. Jimmy Clausen , CHI - 58.4 rating, 3 TD, 9 INT

24. Tyrod Taylor, BAL - 47.2 rating, 0 TD, 2 INT

25. Jeff Tuel , BUF - 45.1 rating, 1 TD, 3 INT

I think his resume is slightly larger than that
