we've heard the job will be won by the end of the second preseason game iirc, so not a huge surprise.

as long as he looks decent we'll be ok. singular deficiencies can be masked.

Sum of all fears close to becoming a reality.  If it happens, I really, really hope he's shockingly good.  But honestly, if he's good it'll be shocking.  Chandler's knee issue had really bad timing.

pretty much this. i gain nothing substantive by being right about him and benefit quite a bit from being wrong. same goes with any criticism i have about the team. getting to say "i told you so" when i'm right about stuff like this is pretty petty and weak.

at this point i would settle for him just not being a liability on the line. i would be quite satisfied with that.

Bell has always been a rollercoaster. That is his issue. One week he will go out and you think he can play....then he gets beat like a drum over and over.

Bell got bull rushed on the KB play but it had no effect on DA. He didn't do bad at all otherwise.

I'm behind Bell at LT until he proves absolutely detrimental to the team. He's not ideal but it's what we have and I'm not going to trash a player or root for him to fail. I hope he proves to be a serviceable LT. I have doubted him in the past but I find myself rooting for him not only for his resisiliance but him coming into his own is the best hope for our team this year.

Yeah, he got bullrushed a couple times, but it was the man's first preseason game, playing LT for the first time since college, and the Bills had already played the week before and their D-line is beast. Considering those points and the fact he gave up 0 sacks, I say he played pretty good with all things considered. Now let'see what he can did against the Chiefs.
