Which potential starter worries you the most?

Godfrey. Love him in run support and short yardage situations, but he's a liability in coverage. Having said that, I hope he proves me wrong.

I don't think Cason starts. I think he'll just be sprinkled in here and there. I think Norman and White will be the guys on the outside most of the year.

 

Harper has me worried though.

Honestly this 1st preseason game has me most worried about Chandler. Bell was actually great and I feel confident he can do better than last year, and even be better than solid. I hope Chandler can work it out and be a solid starter.

If they choose somebody who is on this team right now as our full-time starter at LT or RT, it would be whoever that is.

If they choose somebody on this team to return punts, it would also be whoever that is.

Man, we gotta play teams like the Packers, Bears, Lions, Saints (X2), Falcons(X2), and the Eagles,all with high powering offense with great receivers. Our secondary better gel quickly.

 

IMO the secondary will be better than last year but you also stop high power offense with top pass rushers.

DWill. Thirty one year old running backs don't concern defenses. Not concerned about experienced defensive backs that had a down year last year. Not concerned about tackles that our coaching staff clearly believes in yet the huddle collectively does not. Shrug.

If not him, then Chandler. Really need a good showing from him

1)Godfrey at nickel will be a nightmare. 2)Nate Chandler seems too inexperienced to play LT and not powerful enough to play RT.

I'm just saying...a lot of people have been on this "It doesn't matter who we throw back into our secondary" train because of the talent in the front-7 but you can't really rely solely on that and thrown Antoine Cason and Roman Harper back there.  Not saying our defense can't be great this year, but I'm more concerned back there than on the OL.  

 

You know what you get with Bell so he doesn't worry me and Chandler is expected to go through growing pains.  At the end of the day, we have a mobile QB who is one of the hardest to take down in the league and a tall reliable receiving corps.
