I am just going to say this, and I don't know if it is wrong or not, but Parkinson disease is the one thing that would make me contemplate suicide.

It is a cruel disease, and I could not deal with my mind being fine but my body shutting down like that.

Again, I don't know if that is bad to say, but it is the truth.

yea it kinda makes a little sense now

The wife just said that some of the medicines taken with Parkinsons cannot be taken with anti depressants

That is 100% true.

My grandmother progressed to an extreme case of Parkinson's before she died.  It was gut wrenching to watch her wither away to nothing.  Doctor's said that her mental acuity and understanding was still sharp as a tack....but she was trapped in a body that woudl not repsond.

That would be my definition of true hell.

Tell me more about this, it's something I have not heard or researched

I sense a tad of sarcasm.

Aside from stem cell research I have heard doctors say with the advancement and technology increase going on this has a lot of potential to be nearly eradicated. I think even Dr. Oz was on air and said something similar about a year or so ago.

There was an article just yest in USA today as well about it getting better.

Im not saying a cure is right around the corner but we are closer than ever.

So someone has depression already and has for his whole life and drinking issues, and now is told the news of such a terrible disease and another battle he has to do in his life..... sounds like the perfect storm of forcing someone to do this.

Yeah. Not to mention his professional career and maybe he doesn't have the same energy level either. Awful.

No sarcasm. I honestly thought we were 10-20 years away from a breakthrough still. I'll have to look that up some more.
