The chances of them having a Friday or Saturday home game one of those weekends are very good.

To me it doesn't matter where their first game is as long as their first home game is on a weekend. Does seem like their first game as the Hornets should be in Charlotte though.

Prediction: Saturday Nov 1st against the Bulls.

I think it's more about the opening night than anything else. Definitely is for me anyway.

Yeah, normally the schedule release is pretty ho-hum, but the first game at home as the Hornets again is pretty exciting.  I agree that I hope it's on the weekend.

It's got to be on a weekend. I think the city will do a multi-day celebration around it. It's also a big story for the NBA. Can't imagine they'll give us Milwaukee on a Tuesday night.
