looks like Bell and Williams at LT so far

Mr Scot, there are times when I think you have an actual inability to read. Or, at least, reading what is actually said and not what you want to see. Let's take, for example, your quote here.

That's the "last paragraph" I quoted (if you want to call it that). No where does that mentioned "OT". Instead, it denotes LT, as plain as fuging day. You should know, you typed it.

Before that, I quoted this jumbled wall of text:

I can understand the stress of not having the solid oline that we all want, but its getting a little ridiculous. You guys act like our administration has no clue to our weakness, if we all can see it dont you think they can as well. And as for the sky falling with Bell, i thought he played pretty admirably and the fact that he is stepping up and providing leadership is big. He seems to have a different demeanor about the way he is going about playing this year, and i actually trust byron at the left side. The only side i worry about is chandler and the rt spot and i honestly thing gman and the admin will pick up some guys to provide depth once the cuts are made. The sky isnt falling guys it was one preseason game and the starting oline did pretty good, with chandler as the exception and i feel like he will get better as he goes, just isnt starting caliber yet. Byron has been around the block and I feel like he will be ok.

Here was my response:

Our offensive line was bad last year, and that was with Jordan Gross on it. This year it's going to be even worse. And it's not just Bell, look at the rest of the offensive line.

Bell / guy coming off an ACL tear / Kalil / rookie / guy who has never played T in an NFL game

So, tell me, how is that something that's "going to be okay"? And something "not to worry about"?

Notice how the conversation was entirely about the offensive line as a whole? And not just "OT" or "LT" or whatever else the fug you want to use as a deflector.

Now please, try fuging reading next time before trying to buck up with your internet elitism.

I said 'OT is a problem'.

You said 'Why do people think it's just LT' and then ironically questioned my reading comprehension

And yet, you specifically mentioned just the LT position, as for finding evidence.

Lol.

So stupid.

If our oline was bad last year and we managed to win 12 games what does that tell you?  We have THE most athletic qb in the game and half of the pressure he will get he will evade and make a play.  Not saying that he should have to do that, and our oline is definetly our weakest link but if they play at least to an avg level we will make playoffs again.  Our interior is better than last years with silatolu back an now trai turner, but I really dont feel like its as bad as some of you say. Our oline is solid in all but one position and thats RT, mark my words bell will have the best season he has ever had.  The depth makes me more nervous than anything, and im sure that will be addressed.

Key difference there is Jordan Gross. We also had Wharton around to add even more veteran presence. Now it's just Kalil.

I still believe we will be getting a couple veterans once cuts begin and the season gets closer.

Guard worries me just as much as tackle.

Turner is a rookie and Silatolu is shakey at times in pass protection.

Cam's athleticism masks how bad our Oline is.  However it's getting younger and more atheletic I think every day.

We are going to build through the draft so whomever our next "franchise"  OL is probably not even on the team.

Losing Gross stings, but I think this group can play well enough to win games.  Like I said our interior is better than last years and Bell will play well this year it just seems like he wants it more this year.  If we can sign some solid depth and a solid right tackle we will be fine,  the good news is we have a Pro Bowl qb with legs and a great arm who can make up for a lot of mistakes, so with average play he can make them look great.

Yeah, I like Philly Brown, but I don't know that he's ready, and Cason being our #1 corner is not worth the risk.

The interior being better is debatable, Turner is a rookie, and Silatolu is coming back from a season ending injury. As for Cam, I don't agree with that mindset. You never want to have to expect your QB to make up for his OL, certainly not on a regular basis, we need to protect him.

Agreed. I'm not going to say that our interior is better. Wharton was as good as Amini is, and Chandler was on the offensive line, which is about the same as turner, a rookie.
