Offensive line

With the NFL game pass i can re watch the game and replay any action again and again.

The first string offensive line, everyone played well but Chandler

Bell played like a pro bowler, what a change, well done Byron, keep playing like that.

The third? string offensive line played well too,(Webb offesnive line) i like what i saw but playing against their third string is certainly much easier.. i would still love to see more of.. Oscar johnson T, Andrew Norwell G, Davd Foucault T, and Andrew McDonald T. i find them promising.

On the other hand, both Chandler and Velasco played HORRIBLY. both are steam rolled on almost every play.

You 2, i will be watching you during the next pre season games, so pull the fingers out of your @zz

and play like warriors not sissies damnit !

If Bell did it you can do it too..

By the way, and sorry to be off topic, but Webb must stay at all cost.

I mentioned Chandler in another thread, he struggled mightily the entire time. It looked like he was playing too high and didn't have the strength to withstand power moves. He has the athletisism to get in position, but staying there was a problem.

I think Chandler's best bet is at LT, but if he continues to play like he did Friday he may find himself on the bench.

I'll also add that 63, the 6' 8" dude was pushed around a lot too. If you watched him carefully you could see that he struggles staying low. Once he gives up the leverage he's done. He also couldn't re-anchor and counter when the DL gained an advantage. I thought he and Chandler stuck out as horrible on the OL.

During the first plays yes but later in the game he is playing much better.

Still believe we make a power move one way or another to bring in a legitimate starting left tackle. I don't mean an elite player at the position, but a serviceable veteran for a year or two. I wouldn't mind trading a pick for Roos. Right now a starting left tackle that is good enough to get the job done could be the difference between making the playoffs and having a run or not at all. We need to keep Cam upright.

Still bummed Gross didn't give us one more year but I respect his decision and love all he did for this team.

Better yes, but he was still the weak link and struggled often. He's a guy who looks like he'll be a stud if, IF, he can hammer down the fundamentals and stay low. It's hard to do at that size, but it's been done before.

He will certainly join the practice squad.
