Norman was beaten several times today. I saw Avant beat him with a stutter step and Benji just beat him, period. He had the one pick but, that's all from what I saw.

and that was against a very good defensive front.

it was only for acouple possessions, but still pretty respectable for the first preseason game where people are usually shaky and prone to mistakes....which also was facing a team in their second preseason game.

I think the Bell competition was like when we drafted Newton and he has to compete with Clausen. Cam was our starter they just had to pretend it was earned.

I think the job was pretty obviously Bell's to begin with. Technically they make him compete with a guy who likely wouldn't be a LT backup on all other rosters

LT spot was Bell's to loose coming into camp. He was going to be the LT baring Chandler completely smoking him or Bell falling apart and that didn't happen.
