Yea your right kid... Nascar didn't have to pay millions to former driver's because they are beaten and broken, but the NFL did. Former Nascar drivers arent hobbling around using walker and canes because their sport left them so fugged up. Nascar drivers don't have a history of committing suicide because multiple conconsions have left them fuged mentally like alot former NFL players do.

Great logic Dex....

68 deaths as a direct result from NASCAR. How many from the NFL again? Oh right. You hicks worship this sport I swear lol.

im just looking for hard evidence not conjecture there is a huge difference. Anyone can say anything and unfortunately perception is not reality.

Right and as I've said - the dude running on to the track like a madman is going to probably save fatboy from any serious charges. But as I've said we've seen drivers (TS included) swerve their car towards other drivers on the track during confrontation only to swerve away at the last minute. It's possible as well that Stewart's vision may have been blocked.

Yeah - the kid getting out of his car and running onto a race track was a bad idea. But we've seen drivers (like TS) swerve their cars towards another driver who has exited his car in a confrontational manner only to swerve away again at the last minute. I'm not saying this is what happened but Stewart is a documented asshole and no stranger to having drivers exit their vehicles and point at him.

dude you're just straight up full of poo, do you realize how you come across?

Like I said in the other thread, it's only a story because Tony Stewart is involved. If I was killed rock climbing no one would care because it's dangerous.

this is correct. documented asshole, hothead Tony Stewart makes this a story. If it would have been Joe Schmo it may not get more than a brief mention on sportscenter.

I thought you were gone.

If you don't like NASCAR so much why are you trolling a thread mainly full of NASCAR fans and hicks like me. We get it you don't like the sport. So don't watch it and take your pissy insults elsewhere.

Saying NASCAR isn't a dangerous sport is moronic. Never mind how I feel about the sport.

So basically you made up "a lot of people that were at the track, and some of the NASCAR writers, etc seem to think Stewart knew exactly what he was doing when he did it" based on a deadspin blog?

You need to stop rushing to judgement and wait till all the facts come out. The investigation facts will be made available to the public after the law enforcement officials and the family of the victim talk to Mr. Stewart's high priced lawyers from Bass Pro Shops, Exxon Mobil, and Hendrix Motorsports.

I'm not one of these huge NASCAR fans but what are you expecting from a message board filled with fans of a NC based team talking about a sport that originated in western NC?

It's okay to glorify football violence that ruins lives but violence in NASCAR should not be supported? Do you not see the fallacy in that argument? In football the object of the game is to bring down an opponent via tackles and hits. In NASCAR the wrecks are simply byproducts of trying to overtake opponents and on the rare occasion they are started on purpose, the drivers are disciplined.

This comparison is not even in the same ballpark.

What judgment did I make?

I asked you to provide some links to a specious statement that you made and you didn't because there aren't any.

As others have pointed out you are obviously just making poo up.

I never said football isn't a dangerous sport. These guys are just saying that so it draws attention away from how dangerous NASCAR can be. You use poor form to tackle you end up paralyzed. You get clipped going 200mph and smash into a wall well, that's a horse of a different color.
