Fantasy Football: Help Me Hit the Books

The Huddler

Recommended Posts

Yo, I'm looking for some really good fantasy football information sources, and I was hoping some of you would help me out. We all know of the ESPN, yahoo, and NFL.com fantasy crap that everyone reads in order to prepare for a draft.

I'm looking for some real nitty gritty, in depth analysis to take my teams to the next level. I want to put in the work to study and be fully prepared for this season.

I realize there is a total subforum for this topic, but there is little traffic through there. If you have had a lot of success with a source, please share. PM me if you have competition here on the Huddle. I don't just want to use google to find my sources, as to most of the options on there are so generic and just want to make money. Much thanks and pie for helping me out!!

Dave Richard and the CBS team do a respectable job - but like ESPN they have an agenda. The sources listed above good as well. If you want to get some practice in before your main league draft - go join some free ESPN leagues so you can kinda get a feel for where certain players are going and look for trends.

couple of guys you may want to keep an eye on that I have as possible big time sleeper/breakout players next year:

Rashad Jennings

Denarius Moore

Andre Ellington

Ben Tate

and depending on how deep your league is with teams and positions - Kelvin Benjamin is a guy you may want to target towards the end of the draft. I'm in a big money league with 9 other Panthers fans so guys like Cam and Benjamin are probably going to go a lot higher than they should.

feel free to add any more to this list

. Seems like all of the good content on the site a need a subscription. Do you have the subscription and is I worth the money? I signed up for the 3 free downloads and the emails, thanks man.

I just get the emails he sends I had a subscription but now I just go off his emails.

The reason i get the subscription is they produce excel spreadsheets that are changeable to your league and there is plenty of subscriber only content. I think the spreadsheets are free right now if you want to check it out.

Draft Dominator is a great tool that footballguys has too.  I use it a lot to get a better feel when to target certain players I have a hunch are going to have big years.  Sometimes it works out, but it also keeps me in check on reaching for players and not allowing good value to pass me by.
