Barner doesn't fit our scheme...

But claiming it is just him sucking is wrong

Barry Sanders ain't going nowhere with this OL

That seemed to be a case of Bell not getting inside leverage on his block and Ed Dickson blocking like my Great Aunt Priscilla. That was a good look at the problem, there.

That is absolutely pathetic. Their D-line straight manhandled our O-line in the run game. We had no where to go all day.

And don't forget Nate Chandler getting one arm shoved to the ground by the guy who made the tackle.  I'm pulling for Nate but wow that was pretty weak.

If the o-line stays suspect in the run game, then our best option IMO is to make Tolbert the starting tailback. Decent hands, tough runner, and he can make his own holes. Deangelo and Barner are shifty backs who need holes, Stewart is balanced but always injured, Reaves is a rookie, so our best shot at a 1000 yard dependable back is Tolbert. It remains to be seen if they'll give him a chance as the workhorse back though.

Reeves impressed me last night while barner, even though I'm a big supporter of his, disappointed me. I still believe in kenjon and his ability, but, if Shula never calls plays designed to get him in space...he will never succeed here. Kenjon is just not built to be a "between the tackles" RB...get him the ball in space and he will be effective.
