All around Player?

What do you guys think of bringing in an all around player for things like qtrback,safety,reciever,runningback,and special teams for a very small price tag ... How about Syvelle Newton ? He does very well at all but since he was 2 big of a team player and i mean by that he had 18 passing touchdowns for 2456 yards ...10 rushing touchdowns for 742 yards ...20 tackles in 2 games of playing safety with a few qtr back hurries .. 3 recieving touchdowns with 396 yards.. runs a solid 4.5-6 his only problem was he was too big of a team player and they couldnt find out what posistion for him to play , he prefers qtrback however .. The boy just does not give up he will do anything for his team which is why everyone loved to watch him at south carolina hes an explosive player, Highlight video here

My thoughts exactly. He might be a good fit in an offense that would take advantage of his talents, but I don't think that's here.

Well lets say quintan teal and whoever the last reciever will be arnt playing well .. You throw someone in there who will do his very best to help his team , ( realistically this could only happen in a hellhole situation but still crap happens) it even said on the video comments and this is true , The guy messed up his Nfl career because he cared more about helping his team the best he could , why would you not want a leader like that in your system?

Or for instance we actually felt we needed to sign michael vick ..since that is a BAD idea .. if we wanted a player like him who can actually flippin throw too .. there ya go!

why wouldn't I want a leader like that? Because he's no leader if he doesn't have an established role. You don't hire a player to serve multiple roles, instead what you do is you take a player that is already solid in one position and TRAIN him to possibly fill other roles.

thats essentially what he does ... he didnt get drafted in 06 , played cfl was offered starting wr job but felt he could pursue the Qb posistion with another team now he just got screwed up the butt once again by a football association with the suspension of the Arena football league for which he played for the harrisburg stampede.. life just gets better and better eh?
