Converting Godfrey to CB was a mistake.

Expecting Godfrey to be 100% after a year when Beason wasn't 100% a year after rupturing his Achilles was the bigger mistake imo

I was always taught by every single coach that I've ever had through college that as a WR your first step off the line should be your back leg going forward and down field. Bersin stutters at the line. I have to think he's being told something completely different based on the clip. Decent round, excellent plant and turn. He allowed the DB to dictate to him to fade to the inside which actually isn't a good thing. He's supposed to go straight downfield and cut at a 90' angle. He does cut at 90, but he faded to the inside which isn't necessarily good. He does look good though. I'm obviously not playing pro ball either.

i don't think so. converting him to nickel is, he is ideal for outside CB. this team hardly plays man press on the outside, so he will not be in that type of coverage often.

Especially recovering from an Achilles injury.
