A few things to consider here.

 

Pulled up would infer elastic in the waist, no need to wear elastic shorts unless you are playing an organized sports event.

 

 

The same goes for Jordans, or any other "basketball" shoes out in public.

 

 

In the summer, try a nice pair of Rainbows, in the Fall, Winter, and Spring, a nice pair of Cole Haans, a nice pair of boots, or boat shoes should do you well.
