He had this forum mesmerized.

There were people fighting tooth and nail, adamant that he'd be a star with some other team and we screwed up majorly by cutting him.

One thing I can say for this team even under Hurney: The majority of their cuts have been spot on.  Yeah, there's been a mistake or two, but not as many as you might think.

Well it's good to know we can evaluate talent once they've become failures. Problem with most of these guys was being forced to hang onto them with our car situation. Joe Adams being cut was the turning point imo. I expect Norman to be next.

Shula used to be the OC at Tampa - I think they've been laughing at us since we hired him.

they certainly werent laughing last season when we creamed them twice.

side note: i took a long-time friend to the home game last year. he is a Tampa fan and was miserable the whole time. haha. he loves Cam though, and when we saw that diving touchdown Cam made in that game, even my friend was cheering. ;)

I never really thought Gettis was bad, but for whatever reason, some people make full recovery from injuries while others don't.

Gettis' misfortune lies in being part of group two.

I thought Gettis was OK. It was a "if he can do it with pickles throwing him the ball, just imagine what he can do with cam!" belief. I didn't really buy it, but because he can't stay on the field we'll never know. To an extent, everyone who goes to camp is pretty good at playing football. Staying healthy is part of the process.

The guy looked like a Stud with Pickles throwing him the ball. I think most people that really watched the 2010 season saw Gettis as a highlight of that season. A guy that could really be a play maker if he didn't have the dough-boy at QB.

Some guys never make the recovery from major injuries,
