The only thrill I get from reading The Huddle is that it's instantaneous. So while I love the creativity and enthusiasm, no. Maybe for our gray-haired huddlers though

That's nice man but print media is dying. We wouldn't go back to 8 track or VCR tapes.

If all the writers write for free and the photographers take pictures for free.  The designers works for free.  The web space is donated for an online version and maybe you can get it printed for free.

To start... Yes. But then you get advertising started up and they can get paid to write, photograph, or design. Magazines don't make their money from subs, they make it from the ads

It's an awesome execution and general idea... but printed media is kind of dying man.  I don't think I know anyone other than middle-aged women and some men (who are still subscribed to Playboy, etc.) that still buy magazines.

 

Maybe y'all could translate this into like a Huddle 2.0 on the Internet or something.  Fieryprophet is a pretty nice coder from what I've seen, Zod already has a large community together (along with exclusive access to the team and great photography skills), and you have some sick graphic design skills... maybe y'all can collaborate this initial idea together into something else, because there's definitely potential to be had.

 

As awesome as it would be to have a printed Huddle magazine, I'm not so sure if that's the right direction to go in this day and age.  But once again, big props for the effort, and like I said I still think you're on to something and in the right direction.
